The GFP Premium U-9 is a sintered activated carbon block filter cartridge for drinking water filtration with a flow rate of approximately 1.7 liters per minute (depending on water pressure).
Carbonit® Monoblock : a baked block filter, award-winning and scientifically recognized: Combines the well-known adsorptive powers of sintered activated carbon (e.g., pesticides) with mechanical filtration (e.g., bacteria). (Not to be confused with loose fills of granulated carbon or extruded blocks.)

Compared to the standard NFP type, GFP Premium U-9 has a 55% higher activated carbon mass. The activated carbon mass determines the adsorptive retention rate (ARR) and retention capacity (ARC). Therefore, it is recommended for applications requiring high adsorption requirements (decolorization, odor removal, etc.).
GFP Premium U-9 fits into the filter units
Please note: In contrast to the NFP type (2x flat seals, 4mm each, top and bottom), the GFP Premium U-9 only has one 8mm thick seal. This seal must always be used on the bottom cap side (the side of the cartridge without a central outlet hole).
Notes
The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). Generally, 10,000 liters of water may be filtered during this time. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. This usually indicates an increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water and must be protected from frost.
With each filter change, the flat seals of the cartridges (included in the replacement cartridge package) are replaced. This ensures perfect sealing and functionality at all times.
