Pall Kleenpak™ Sink Filter KAQ31F1 for 1 Month of Protection

Pall Kleenpak water filters provide immediate, validated protection against waterborne microorganisms such as Legionella, Pseudomonas, and Cryptosporidium. They offer safety with 100% flexibility—no long-term capital commitment and easy installation.

IMPORTANT

• Please note that you will need one of the adapters listed below for the connection when ordering for the first time.
• Without this quick coupling, the Pall Kleenpak water filters (KAQ31F1S2) cannot be connected to the sink faucet.
• The quick coupling remains on the sink faucet when changing the filter and does not need to be replaced.
• Pall Kleenpak water filters (KAQF4, KAQ31F1S, KAQ31F1R, KAQIN) were tested under practical conditions and validated for a service life of up to 31 days.

Pall Kleenpak water filters are used to remove microorganisms from tap water . Applications include drinking water or water for external use in immunocompromised individuals and/or for wound cleansing. Pall Kleenpak water filters also allow water connections to remain in use even when buildings are critically contaminated, e.g., with Legionella and/or Pseudomonas . They are also suitable for use during construction or maintenance work to ensure the safety of the water supply.

Microorganisms such as Legionella sp., Pseudomonas spp., and Cryptosporidium parvum frequently contaminate tap water and can cause life-threatening infections, particularly in immunocompromised individuals. Pall-Kleenpak sterile water filters contain a double-layer, 0.2 µm Supor sterile membrane with an integrated pre-filtration membrane. This polyethersulfone media can be used continuously at temperatures up to 60 °C. Should thermal disinfection be required, the material can withstand a maximum temperature of 70 °C for a total of 30 minutes based on the filter's service life. This robust material is also compatible with all common chemical disinfectants, and the protective pre-filter ensures high flow rates.

Quick installation for immediate protection! The Pall Kleenpak can be installed without complex plumbing work or interrupting the water supply, providing immediate, hygienically safe water to the designated outlet.

installation

1. Unscrew your sink aerator.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Screw the quick-release coupling (see below) onto the thread on the washbasin faucet. Make sure the seal is properly seated.
4. Slide the filter inlet (sink water filter) into the adapter outlet (quick coupling). You should hear a click.
5. Done! - The Pall Kleenpak disposable water filter can be used for up to 31 days.

Filter change

1. Remove the transparent bag with the new filter from the packaging.
2. Remove the new filter from the bag and set it aside.
3. To remove the old filter, press the colored release button on the adapter to release the filter.
4. The filter can be removed from the quick coupling by pulling it gently.
5. Place the old filter in the existing bag and seal it.
6. Wash your hands.
7. Attach the new filter to the quick coupling as you did during the initial installation.
8. Done! - The Pall Kleenpak disposable filter can be used for up to 31 days.
9. The old filter can be disposed of with normal household waste.
