Elixir of oak bark, ginger and clove
A unique blend of organic essential oils of clove, ginger, mint, and orange with their natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Further fortified with L-arginine, a pH-balancing plant-based amino acid, and the astringent, antibacterial tannins of white oak bark to soothe your oral sensitivity. Fortified with vitamin B12 and calcium hydroxyapatite (HAp), a fluoride alternative.
A tab is bitten into a paste in the mouth, which is then spread with the toothbrush like normal and conventional toothpaste.
CALCIUM HYDROXYLAPATITE (HAP)
Fluoride alternative: Natch is 100% vegan. As an alternative to conventional fluoride, we use calcium hydroxyapatite (HAp). This active ingredient is made from a natural form of calcium phosphate. It is the main mineral that makes up our teeth and bones (approximately 95% of enamel and 70% of dentin). Studies show that HAp is an effective and harmless (when swallowed) alternative to traditional fluoride. It can also contribute to the remineralization of tooth enamel and reduce the risk of cavities and tooth erosion.
ORGANIC CLOVE ESSENTIAL OIL
Cloves are the aromatic flower buds of an evergreen tree in the Myrtaceae family, native to Indonesia and Madagascar. They are known for their numerous benefits, including oral care. Their main active ingredient is eugenol, which possesses powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antioxidant properties. This explains why dentists often apply it to the gums to kill germs and relieve toothaches after dental procedures. For your safety, all of our essential oils are sourced and manufactured according to IFRA guidelines.
L-ARGININE
Arginine is an amino acid naturally found in saliva that helps regulate the pH of the mouth, preventing bacteria and plaque acids from surviving. It's found in a variety of foods, including plants, legumes, nuts, and meat. We use only plant-based sources. Arginine has a natural protective effect on the mouth and is clinically proven to be very effective in reducing cavities and treating tooth sensitivity.
OAK BARK
Oak bark comes from trees in the Fagaceae family and is native to North America. In the days before dentistry, Native Americans used white oak bark to treat mouth infections and other dental problems such as gingivitis and toothaches. The power of oak bark lies in its high tannin content and its antibacterial, antiseptic, and astringent properties, making it an ideal ally for bleeding gums and mouth sores.
ORGANIC ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL
In addition to their wonderfully sweet citrus flavor, orange essential oils have natural immune-boosting and antibacterial properties that can help protect your teeth and gums from infection. For your safety, all our essential oils are sourced and manufactured according to IFRA guidelines.
ORGANIC SPEARMINT ESSENTIAL OIL
Mint is known for its spear-shaped leaves and unique sweet flavor. It's milder than peppermint, as it contains less menthol, but just as refreshing. Due to its high concentration of carvone, spearmint has powerful antiviral and antibacterial properties. For your safety, all our essential oils are sourced and manufactured according to IFRA guidelines.
ORGANIC GINGER ESSENTIAL OIL
Ginger contains raffinose and gingerol, two compounds that have been shown to help temporarily reduce inflammation and pain. The compounds in ginger may also help reduce the oral bacteria that lead to cavities and gum disease, making it a generally effective ally in your oral health regimen. For your safety, all of our essential oils are sourced and manufactured according to IFRA guidelines.
ORGANIC QUILLAJA SAPONARIA
Quillaja saponaria, the soap bark tree, is an evergreen tree in the Quillajaceae family native to central Chile in the temperate latitudes. The soap bark tree has long been used medicinally by the Andean people. Its naturally high saponin content makes it a natural and less harsh foaming option than SLS, a foaming agent used commercially in toothpastes and shampoos.
