Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is native to northern Europe and Asia and has been traditionally used there for centuries. The mushroom grows primarily on birch trees and has a characteristic cracked, blackened appearance with a reddish-orange core.
It's not yet possible to cultivate chaga, so all chaga is harvested from the wild. KÄÄPÄ Mushrooms produces its extract from wild-harvested chaga from Lapland in northern Finland. Due to the cold winters and pristine nature, Lapland is home to the highest quality and most effective chaga.
