The Carbonit Monoblock IFP Ultra consists of a sintered activated carbon block (fineness 5 micrometers) and an ultrafiltration membrane (internal, 0.02 µm) for the highest hygienic standards (reliable retention of bacteria and viruses ). The water flows first through the block filter and then through the membrane. This combination enables an acceptable water flow (approx. 2 l/min) with the highest hygienic safety.

The ultrafiltration membrane reliably protects against bacteria and viruses, the sintered activated carbon block removes unwanted chemical substances and complements the effectiveness spectrum, since the membrane has no adsorptive effect.

Notes

The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, 5,000 liters of water may be filtered during this time. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. This usually indicates an increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.

For technical reasons, use is only permitted with cold water and must be protected from frost.

With each filter change, the flat seals of the cartridges (included in the replacement cartridge package) are replaced. This ensures perfect sealing and functionality at all times.
