The VFS 10' 1µm prefilter is a 1µm mesh textile prefilter for use in Carbonit household drinking water filters. It is made entirely of polypropylene and features a high pore volume, resulting in a lower pressure drop and excellent dirt holding capacity.

Its SupaGard fibers are continuously woven onto a central core without the use of binders, resins, or foreign materials. This results in a one-piece construction that sheds no particles or fibers.

Areas of application

Pre-filtration to protect the main filters from increased particles.
